Mayab´Ixoqi’ Tejiendo Historia

Mayab’Ixoqi’ is a community association of Tz’utujil Maya women committed to promoting women’s rights and preserving historical memory. It raises awareness about sexual and reproductive rights from a perspective rooted in the Mayan worldview, fights against gender-based violence, and supports women’s economic empowerment. Through workshops, spaces for intergenerational dialogue and community actions, Mayab’Ixoqi’ links health, culture, and the protection of nature to strengthen equality and collective well-being.
